2402 Foundation has signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Association of First Aid and Tactical Medicine Operators and Instructors. The memorandum was signed in Kyiv by the co-founder of the 2402 Foundation Kateryna Sergatskova and the Chairman of the Board of the Association Leonid Fedorovskyi
The purpose of the memorandum is to consolidate the efforts of the two organizations to improve the mechanisms for protecting the interests of society in Ukraine by improving security standards. The key areas of cooperation include the development and implementation of standards in the field of first aid, tactical medicine and civil society security, conducting training events and sharing experiences, supporting the capacity of civilian infrastructure, and promoting public awareness of security basics.
This partnership will combine the 2402 Foundation's experience in security training for media and civil society activists with the Association's experience in developing international standards and implementing them at the national level.
“This memorandum is an important step in the development of cooperation between international and Ukrainian organizations to improve the quality of training and the level of safety and security of the Ukrainian population,” - Kateryna Sergatskova.
In the near future, the two organizations will work to create a next-generation safety standard for media professionals in Ukraine.
About 2402 Foundation
2402 Foundation is a non-profit initiative that develops a culture of safety in Ukraine by providing comprehensive safety training for journalists, media managers, documentary filmmakers and civic activists.
