Since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, 2402 Foundation has been helping Ukrainian journalists by providing them with all the necessary equipment for self-defence and first aid, while working in dangerous situations, including working on the front line.
Recently, the security situation in Ukraine has been extremely tense. Russia has intensified its shelling of civilian infrastructure and started actively attacking railway, energy and media infrastructure across the country. Lavrov stressed that Kharkiv "plays an important role" in Russian President Vladimir Putin's idea to create a demilitarised "sanitary zone" in Ukraine to protect Russian border settlements from Ukrainian attacks. And in the last few weeks, the shelling of Kharkiv has intensified!
More and more media workers are going to work in the war zones - it is their mission. That's why we have launched a fundraiser to buy first aid kits for Ukrainian journalists who ask for help.
More than a hundred journalists, war correspondents and public figures who work at the frontline to tell the world the truth about what is happening during Russia's war against Ukraine have already signed
an appeal for help with first aid kits. The main goal of this campaign is to buy 400 first aid kits, which cost $60,000. Join in and become part of a great mission!
