The 2402 Foundation signed memorandum of cooperation with the Association of First Aid and Tactical Medicine Operators and Instructors. The memorandum was signed in Kyiv by co-founder of the 2402 Foundation Kateryna Sergatskova and Chairman of the Association Leonid Fedorovskyi.
The aim of the memorandum is the consolidation of efforts of the two organizations in order to improve the mechanisms for protecting the interests of Ukrainian society by improving security standards. The key areas of cooperation include the development and implementation of standards in the field of first aid, tactical medicine and civil society security, conducting training events and sharing experiences, supporting the capacity of civilian infrastructure, and promoting public awareness of the basics of security.
This partnership is intended to combine the 2402 Foundation's experience in safety education for media and public figures with the Association's experience in developing international standards and their implementation at the state level.
“This memorandum is an important step in the development of cooperation between international and Ukrainian organizations to improve the quality of training as well as increase the level of safety and security of the Ukrainian population,” said Kateryna Sergatskova.
In the near future, the two organizations will work to create a new generation of safety standards for media professionals in Ukraine.

2402 Foundation is a non-profit initiative that develops a culture of safety in Ukraine by providing comprehensive safety training for journalists, media managers, documentary filmmakers and civic activists.
