The 2402 Fund held the first free HEFAT training in Odessa
This weekend, Fund 2402 held a free three-day HEFAT training for media workers working in war conditions in Odesa. More than 30 Odesa and Mykolaiv journalists received vital knowledge and skills for work and survival in a hostile environment, thanks to our friends and partners, Saint Javelin. The training took place with financial support with the financial support of the Czech organization People in Need within the framework of the SOS Ukraine initiative.
Our goal is to provide for everyone! Ukrainian journalist with knowledge, skills, and armor protection.
This is the first security training from the 2402 Foundation, which took place outside the capital. The first, but not the last. Next year, we plan to expand the geography of our training to other regions so that as many media workers in Ukraine as possible know and know how to save lives for themselves and their colleagues. To learn how to correctly assess risks before going on a mission to a combat zone, understand explosive devices and be able to avoid them, and be provided with a tactical first aid kit and know how to use it in an emergency situation.
Our goal is to provide for everyone! Ukrainian journalist with knowledge, skills, and armor protection. After all, a media person who covers the war in Ukraine is no less important than a doctor, a rescuer, or a soldier. Thanks to Ukrainian journalists, the world sees the truth about Russia's terrible crimes and their terrible consequences every day. The focus of the world community's attention is on the war in Ukraine, thanks to them.
