We at the 2402 Fund constantly work to find the best opportunities for Ukrainian journalists and provide the highest quality equipment and the most effective, modern training. Therefore, our three-day HEFAT training in Lviv, which took place this week, created a new level of preparation for journalists for work in war conditions.
After all, we have attracted the best specialists in security, tactical medicine, and psychological stability to work on it. These are VICE and Head Set trainers with unique experience working "in the field", MotoHelp instructors, and Антон Скиба a consultant in hostile environments.

This course had a new teaching structure that involved a lot of theoretical, practical, and exciting experiences. Thanks to specially developed VR scenarios, the training participants had a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in a stressful situation, typical of an editorial business trip, and experience similar emotions without exposing themselves to danger.

Assess and work through risks, build communication in a team, learn to manage stress, provide first aid during attacks, and protect yourself in the digital environment. And practical simulations of security situations made it possible to refine the order of actions in teamwork, identify your weaknesses and strengths, and prepare for various scenarios in a hostile environment.

It was a hectic and important three days for each of us. We are grateful to the participants for their dedicated work in training and to our colleagues for their experience and professional approach.
