Modern warfare has outpaced its legal framework. FPV drones and autonomous systems have transformed the battlefield, exposing journalists, humanitarian workers, and investigative teams to new threats. Yet the rules designed to protect frontline civilians were written for a different era, leaving critical gaps in today’s reality.
