Who Can Apply? 

The program by the European Centre for Press and Media Freedom (ECPMF) under “Voices of Ukraine” provides support to:

  • Regional, local, and hyperlocal Ukrainian media, especially those operating in frontline areas.
  • Journalists covering the war and countering disinformation.
  • Individual editorial team members, if the training aims to develop their professional skills.

What Types of Training Are Eligible? 

The grant can cover training programs, including: 

  • Psychological resilience 
  • Countering online hate 
  • Risk management 
  • Digital security 
  • HEFAT (Hostile Environment First Aid Training)

Funding and Deadlines 

  • Application deadline: March 23, 2025 
  • Training period: Until May 30, 2025 
  • Maximum grant amount: Up to €5,000 per training
