2402 Foundation (Daily Humanity) conducted a specialized Hostile Environment First Aid Training (HEFAT) for representatives of the International Women’s Media Foundation (IWMF).
HEFAT (Hostile Environment First Aid Training) is an intensive program designed to prepare professionals working in dangerous or conflict-affected areas. It equips participants with critically important knowledge and practical skills necessary to reduce risks, ensure personal safety, and provide first aid in conditions where access to traditional medical care may be limited or unavailable.
The training program is adapted to the realities of Ukraine, where the situation changes frequently, and it addresses current challenges arising from war and crisis conditions. Since 2022, we have been conducting HEFAT trainings, constantly improving our methodology based on the latest data and hands-on experience.
Completing HEFAT training is a necessary requirement for organizations whose staff work in high-risk situations in Ukraine and beyond. These trainings significantly enhance safety levels and prepare personnel for real threats — which is especially vital for preserving life and health when every minute counts.
