Dart Centre, Daily Humanity, and 2402 Foundation are launching a program developed by international experts to support media leaders, build newsroom resilience, and improve mental health.
The project, developed by Dart Centre in collaboration with UNESCO, aims to strengthen team psychological resilience, equip leaders with effective management methods for high-stress environments, and create supportive newsroom cultures. You’ll learn trauma-informed management approaches, develop strategies to support mental health and practice responsible coverage of sensitive topics.
The training is based on a holistic approach drawing on Dart Centre’s 25+ years of experience working with journalists. Experts have found the best mental health outcomes for media workers are achieved by addressing the challenges inherent to their work – how they interact with vulnerable people, operate in teams, and engage audiences significantly impacts their resilience and emotional wellbeing.
