The Daily Humanity organization (2402 Foundation) has launched a unique training program – HEAT (Hostile Environment Awareness Training) training and a one-day Refresher using FPV drones. These are the first training program for civilians in Ukraine, where modern threats of drone attacks are practiced in realistic scenarios using pyrotechnics and drones.
The program has already been tested and received positive feedback from participants.
“Today we live in conditions where drones have become a weapon of daily attacks from Russia and Belarus – not only in Ukraine, but also in Poland, Moldova and other neighboring countries. This changes the security rules for journalists, humanitarian missions and businesses. Our trainings allow us to prepare people for action in the most difficult situations and form real security immunity,” said Katerina Sergatskova, Executive Director and Safety trainer of Daily Humanity.
Two formats are available:
HEAT+DRONES (3 days): a full-fledged program with tactical medicine, mine safety, risk assessment and simulations during drone attacks.
Refresher+DRONES (1 day): an intensive course for those who have already completed HEFAT, HEAT or tactical medicine and first aid courses. It allows you to update your knowledge and practice scenarios using FPV drones.
Why is this relevant?
Modern warfare creates new threats: FPV kamikaze drones, quadcopters with discharges, mine danger and constant shelling. Training participants gain practical experience in emergency situations, practice response algorithms and acquire stress resistance skills.
After completing the training, participants receive an international HEAT or Refresher certificate, which is the basis for insurance companies and employers to grant permission to work in high-risk areas.
